Footprints in the sand

Footprints in the sand - they fade away
Fade away, when the water is dragging them away
Fade away, when other footprints lay on them.

Footprints in the sand - are like beautiful moments
Fade away, when they are forgotten,
Fade away, when other moments displace them.


Footprints in the sand - only the memory knows that they had been there,
only the heart keeps the beautifl moments - sometimes even forever.
Footprints in the sand - and some stay longer than others . . .

Well, not as good and perfect as I could expect it, but good enough I think :-)
